Propagation Tray & Grow Light Details

The Dome Mini Greenhouse from ICM is an all-in-one solution for indoor gardening. The extra thick 10×20 tray provides excellent support for common soil-based and hydroponic growth mediums – it is twice as thick as standard trays, so it will last season after season.

The included clear plastic dome has adjustable air vents, so you can control the growing conditions to suit your own methods. The 18 inch full spectrum grow light produces very little heat, allowing multi-day growing sessions without fear of overheating.

Polycarbonate Mini Greenhouse Details

• Safe polycarbonate with UV protection: light weight, no sharp edges, easy to handle, retains heat, good insulation, impact resistant and strong.
• Glazed with twin-wall (4 mm) polycarbonate for safety and insulation.
• Two hinged lids, which can also be slid out if required.
• Each lid has a catch to prop it open – or slide the lid to one side to leave it open.

Getting Started

1. Use a mixture of potting soil, peat moss and perlite. This comes ready-mixed in most garden stores.
2. Before planting, soak seeds in water or place them between wet paper towels in a plastic bag for 2 to 4 hours.
3. Fill containers with potting soil to about 2 cm (3/4 inch) below the rim. Sprinkle seeds over the soil and cover with about 6 mm (1/4 inch) of extra soil.
4. Water whenever the soil feels dry. A spray bottle adds moisture without knocking over delicate seedlings.
5. If many seeds germinate, snip unwanted plants at soil level with kitchen scissors rather than pulling them out. This thinning avoids overcrowding.
6. For young herb seedlings, dig a hole and bury the roots. Plant multiple seedlings 5–8 cm (2–3 inches) apart and place in a sunny spot.
