What is the difference between welded mesh and chain link fence?
Welded mesh has straight wires welded at every intersection into a rigid grid (50x50mm), ideal for
security fencing, cages and enclosures. Chain link is a woven fabric (60x60mm) that is flexible and
easier to install over uneven ground, commonly used for boundary fencing.
What is the difference between hot-dipped and electro-galvanized?
Hot-dipped galvanizing coats the wire in molten zinc, giving a much thicker, more durable protective
layer that resists rust for years outdoors. Electro-galvanizing applies a thin zinc layer electrically
and is far less corrosion resistant. All our fence products are hot-dipped, which is also why wider
mesh is not available.
